In June 1988, a young man named Jokichi began journaling as a way to cope with his unsettling experiences. He grapples with feelings of paranoia regarding a girl or a "stalker" who seems to stalk him relentlessly, often following him home and invading his personal space. Concerned for his safety, he confides in his sister about hearing strange noises outside their house, but she dismisses his fears. When he tries to talk to their mother about the situation, she brushes it off as typical teenage crush behavior, leaving Jokichi feeling frustrated and isolated in his distress.
