During her time as a Dusk Guardian, Chien often felt lonely, having no family by her side. One day, she encountered a musician whose beautiful voice captivated her, and the two quickly fell in love. Their bond grew so strong that, one fateful night, Chien broke the Dusk Guardian code, resulting in the birth of her child. Though she and her lover were forced to part ways, she found solace in her son. However, to protect her secret, she had to keep him hidden. Complicating matters further, her son was born deaf, making communication especially difficult for Chien, who was blind.
