The Jedi Order has fallen. The Empire reigns. The last remnants of the Jedi are scattered across the galaxy, hunted down by the Sith.

Rhen Veydris, a young Jedi Knight, has spent years on the run. At just thirteen, he survived Order 66, but at a terrible cost-his father, a Jedi Master, was killed, and his twin brother, Vaelkor, was lost in the chaos. Rescued by another Jedi, Rhen continued his training in secret, clinging to the Jedi Code even as the galaxy fell to darkness.

Now, at nineteen, Rhen's world shatters again. The Empire finds his hidden village, massacring everyone, including his Jedi mentor. Consumed by grief and anger, Rhen struggles against the dark temptations that whisper in his mind. He wants vengeance. But Jedi do not seek revenge.

In his search for purpose, Rhen encounters Kieran Solari, a rogue pilot who was once a Jedi Padawan but abandoned the Force. Kieran has dedicated himself to finding and protecting the last surviving Jedi. Seeing a chance to help others-and perhaps to find his missing brother-Rhen joins him.

But Rhen is not the only survivor of Order 66.

Vaelkor Veydris lives, but he no longer follows the Jedi path. Believing that the Jedi betrayed him, Vaelkor has spent years in the shadows, growing stronger, fueled by hatred. When he and Rhen finally reunite, it is not as brothers, but as enemies.

As Rhen fights to hold onto the light, Vaelkor seeks to drag him into the dark.

And in the heart of the Empire's growing war machine, a terrible truth waits to be uncovered-one that will challenge everything Rhen believes about the Jedi, the Sith, and the very nature of the Force itself.
