In real life, Mingyu and Sakura are top students at the same high school, constantly competing for the highest grades. They have been rivals since high school, always trying to outdo each other in exams, debates, and even extracurricular activities. Their classmates often joke that their arguments feel like dramatic battle scenes from a fantasy novel.
However, what neither of them knows is that they are also partners in an MMORPG under the usernames Serene (Sakura) and Michael (Mingyu). In the game, they are an unstoppable duo-Serene is a skilled assassin with deadly precision, while Michael is a tank with unwavering loyalty. They have been gaming together for two years, sharing late-night battles, deep conversations, and even flirty banter-both secretly crushing on each other but never revealing their real identities.
