Story Description: "The Ghost I Love... from 2007"
In the summer of 2007, Gia meets Johan, a mysterious, ethereal figure who seems to exist outside the bounds of time and space. Initially dismissing him as a figment of her imagination, Gia's encounters with him intensify as she enters college, forming an unlikely bond with the enigmatic stranger. Johan appears only to her, offering guidance and comfort during her toughest moments, especially as she struggles to save her academic future. With each fleeting encounter, their connection deepens into something more, something impossible.
As the years pass, Gia's love for Johan becomes a complex blend of yearning and sorrow. He is a ghost, a spirit tied to her by an invisible thread of fate, forever beyond her reach but never far from her heart. When her relationship with her college boyfriend, Micko, falls apart due to betrayal, Gia's emotional scars mirror the loss she felt when Johan disappeared from her life.
The story weaves a journey of first love, loss, and healing, exploring the boundaries between life and death, memory and reality. The Ghost I Love... from 2007 is a haunting tale about how love endures beyond time, leaving an indelible mark on the soul.

When depressed, broken Johan moves into a two-bedroom apartment by himself, he soon realizes he's not actually alone after all. The place is haunted by a ghost who can't remember their name, their origin story, or really much of anything at all - that is, until Johan finds ways for the two of them to communicate and they form a powerful bond. Johan helps the ghost figure out their true identity, the events surrounding their death, and what unfinished business keeps them tied to the realm of the living. In the process, the two of them fall into a passionate love that transcends the veil between the life and death.
