This story is about a 14 year old girl named Brooke who is battling with a hard home life. Her parents are abusive and she feels she can't leave because of her sister. At school things are rough too. She gets beat up a lot by the Socs. Her best friend Ponyboy always does the best he can to keep her safe. But It doesn't always work out.
