A short story!

He is blind but he is evil...
He can hear and he can kill.

A peaceful neighborhood where the sun shines proudly and the kids play around. When one day they hear a glass break and look to see the ball has entered that one specific house. 

The kids stare as they gulp and begin to make their way towards it, it looks like a normal house but no one seems to live there as they see no one coming in and out. 

When the kids went to take the ball, they went and opened the door, the house looked dark and dusty, and they went in more only to hear the door shut...

Forever.

We held our breath as we heard footsteps enter the dark room. My heart raced and I covered my mouth to keep from screaming as tears ran down my cheeks. Caleb sat next to me, with obvious fear in his eyes. I knew that the desk couldn't hide us for much longer and that's what scared me the most. The footsteps came closer and they grew louder by the second. I held my breath once I heard the man's footsteps stop. Caleb and I exchanged looks as we sat frozen under the desk. I looked up, trying to listen to the man's actions. Then a gloved hand grabbed the edge of the desk and the man's bloody mask appeared in front of me. He stared at us and chuckled, "Found you." · · · Seven classmates find themselves in detention from breaking the rules at their school. This, of course, isn't their first time in detention but something seemed different. The teacher leaves to do something leaving the kids completely unsupervised which was kind of weird. He usually left some goody two shoes to watch them but this time there was no one except them. Creepy things begin to happen and they find themselves locked in the school. What was this? Time is ticking as they try to find their way out before they end up lying in a puddle of their own blood.

My hand slaps against my mouth as I try to shut myself up. Don't make too much noise...or he'll hear you. A vehicle's door opens then slams shut. I don't hear footsteps...but as the minutes go by I begin to hear them; the footsteps get louder and louder and louder, matching the sound of my thundering heart. That's when I see his shadow cast over the ditch...over the place where I tried to hide. "Well," he says with a smile in his voice. "I wonder where he could've gone...the footprints stop here...so I wonder if he just...disappeared?" My body begins to tremble. I can feel it now. The pain. I can feel the pain already. He jumps down into the ditch...he stands directly in front of me, with his back facing me. My hand presses harder against my mouth as I try to suppress my whimper, but it's way too late now. But his body tenses up when he hears it. He laughs bitterly as he turns around slowly, and his eyes cut through my camouflage easily. "There you are."

No.7 - Backgammon : a 1950s detective finds himself entangled in a web of crimes, or crimes thwarted by a vigilante, now with all eyes on him he has to think, is this outlaw better or worse for the dangerous streets, or is he even more use than the officers he work with. No.8 - Moth : a lighthouse worker beguins expireancing strange things, is this due to his isolation or is something afoot, something evil... something dangerous. Bonus tale No.9 - Where is gone : the story of youth told by an aging man.

Soon I was lying on the floor in pain . There was blood around me . Suddenly someone came rushing towards me. He held me up in his arms and rushed outside. I wanted to say something but no words came out of my mouth. With all my strength I opened my mouth and I was just able to say 4 words ''This is your child''. There were shocked expressions on that man's face . I tried to touch his face but suddenly he vanished. I felt my head aching and my eyes flickering. I slowly opened my eyes . Oh God! My head is aching as hell and I felt my whole body paining. When I fully opened my eyes I found myself in a hospital room. Thank God!!! It was a dream. I sighed. But why did I had such a dream. I tried to remember what had happened with me and to my surprise I remembered NOTHING. From 'nothing' I mean not a single thing , not even my name , where do I live ???? NOTHING . I can't remember who I am . Oh God!!! What the hell is happening!!! Why did I had such a horrible dream . I jumbled in all these questions when suddenly my eyes landed on a man standing at some distance, which shocked me as hell . It was the same man I've seen in my dream . WHO WAS HE ????
