Every 3000 years, the twin domains of Gemini come together on their path around the sun. For 17 years the twin domains and their gods, Orah and Haro, are reunited. The gods of the twin domains speak an ancient language of incredible power, one that must be kept secret. That is the price the mortals pay each Convergence when the two gods trade their wares and wisdom amongst the domains. A Codespeaker is randomly chosen from each domain to serve as interpreter for their respective god. During that time, the Codespeakers will live together, alone with the gods in a small utopian realm made from the conjoined domains. They will learn the languages, translate for their gods, and confer together for the betterment of both Orah and Haro. They will transcribe their God's wisdom to their domain, to be delivered by by beast. When the task is complete, the Codespeakers must die to keep the language a secret.
