Unhappy with all that always knowing she was different because she was adopted since her parents died when she was twelve she runs away from home after people in her class start vanishing. Sure enough she has a few encounters that she doesn't expect first is a man that saves her after she gets beaten up badly by her trio of bullies. A man who seems to be familiar and introduces himself as Odysseus the king of Ithaca but it isn't possible. What also doesn't make sense is why the infamous king who she finds out is cursed seems to know her. Referring to her as Athena or his mentor.
