Sylas Lupin-Black spent a good chunk of her childhood homeschooled. Partly because her intelligence was virtually unmatched, skyrocketing her ahead in everything she studied, and partly because her truly once-in-a-generation ability was the biggest kept secret in her family history.

But when Remus accepted the job at Hogwarts as a professor, Sylas got a cultural smack in the face as she was thrust into the fast paced environment, tackling everything from mountains of coursework to not so friendly housemates alike.
