"Can you at least tell me where I am?" Riddle asked, breaking the silence.
"I think the better question is 'when I am','" Harry said dryly. There was a startled look on Riddle's face before it was erased in favour of the blank expression the boy wore.
"What do you mean?" Riddle asked cautiously.
Harry withheld a snort. Riddle knew perfectly well what Harry meant by that. Harry could see it on his face. Whatever, I don't have time for this. He still had to plan on how to deal with the Dursleys.
"Today is August 2nd, 1995," Harry deadpanned, relishing in the way those words caught Riddle off guard. The feeling sent a jolt up his spine.
"How the- I travelled 50 years into the future?!" The sheer befuddlement and shock in those words were enough to make Harry believe that he'd gotten the date wrong.
