Something is really wrong in the town of Derry, England. Children go missing every day, adults ignore all bad happenings, and an eldritch monster lurks inside their own sewers. For decades that monster has preyed on the people of Derry, but after one particularly tragic death in October of 1988, a young boy with black eyes and a stutter realizes he can't let this creature live to see another day. Together, he and six very best friends, Matt Kaspbrak, Edd Hanscom, Eduardo Hanlon, Laurel Marsh, Tord Tozier, and Mark Uris decide to get that monster before it can get them. They'll have to face many different challenges on their journey though, psycho bullies, abusive parents, and even their greatest traumas. But how does one fight a monster that feeds off your fear? And what will the Losers Club do when their pasts make them grow into unsatisfied adults and the monster they thought they'd killed in 1989 comes back for seconds? Read this Eddsworld twist on the classic horror story to find out!

This fic is a combination of the movies, book, and miniseries so it doesn't strictly follow the plots of just one. It took me a whole year to write and is jam packed with references upon references to both Eddsworld and IT, to the point every single character in this fic is from Eddsworld cannon in someway, including the background characters. It's also the spiritual sequel to my Carrie AU fic so you can consider this part of a series.
