Something is really wrong in the town of Derry, England. Children go missing every day, adults ignore all bad happenings, and an eldritch monster lurks inside their own sewers. For decades that monster has preyed on the people of Derry, but after one particularly tragic death in October of 1988, a young boy with black eyes and a stutter realizes he can't let this creature live to see another day. Together, he and six very best friends, Matt Kaspbrak, Edd Hanscom, Eduardo Hanlon, Laurel Marsh, Tord Tozier, and Mark Uris decide to get that monster before it can get them. They'll have to face many different challenges on their journey though, psycho bullies, abusive parents, and even their greatest traumas. But how does one fight a monster that feeds off your fear? And what will the Losers Club do when their pasts make them grow into unsatisfied adults and the monster they thought they'd killed in 1989 comes back for seconds? This fic is a combination of the movies, book, and miniseries so it doesn't strictly follow the plots of just one. It took me a whole year to write and is jam packed with references upon references to both Eddsworld and IT, to the point every single character in this fic is from Eddsworld cannon in someway, including the background characters. It's also the spiritual sequel to my Carrie AU fic so you can consider this part of a series.

There is a kingdom called Stardies. It's walls are built to the coast of Farixfa and it's surrounded by dark forest, where even the sunbeams are extraordinary. The king Edd Gold has finally had enough of their little problem. Problem...called Dragons. They are eating cattle of Edd's people. They even eat those unlucky ones who happen to be in their way. In other words, they won't only eat animals, they eat those poor humans as well. Edd and his loyal right hand man Tord Larkins, will pass a new dragon law. When the law comes into force, it gives the soldiers permission to kill those sickening lizards, and eat them instead. The dragon slayer also has license to make armor or weapons of a dragon's skull, bones, scale or claws etc. However, behind Edd's back, something is lurking, and that something is way worse than the ravages of dragons. _____ !TRIGGER WARNINGS! : Gore, animal and human abuse and inappropriate language.
