Starry Tears

Starry Tears is a visceral, chronological descent into the anatomy of despair.

These poems document a soul's transition from seeking external salvation to performing a private, "romantic" ritual of self-destruction. Against a backdrop of religious guilt and global unrest, the poet uses the language of the sacred (the Devil, the Jubilee, and the Sacrament), to articulate a very modern agony.
