What if every book was another dimension? What if you could travel between all of them?
Hi, I'm Kassidy and I'm 12 years old. I don't just read books. I live in them. I'm the repair-girl of the multiverse. I go hopping around and fixing everything people screw up because that's my job. Well, I realized it was my job since Stella... Anyways. I'm a clever little thing, at least that's what the Doctor says.
I'm not really sure where I'm from. I know who my parents are (now), but more on them later,
Anyways, I've decided to settle down in your dimension and write out my life story. Well as much as a remember, anyhow. Even after the Doctor removed my swipe, with a life as hectic as mine, memory loss is a bit common. Everybody thinks that they want to live in books or TV shows. They want to date the main characters and solve all the problems. But honey, I'll be the first to tell ya:
It ain't all it's cracked up to be. The people end up dating anyways. Points in time are fixed and fluxed, you can't just swoop in and save everyone. It's HARD. You guys have a universe with stories about other universes and consider them fictional books. But they're not. Ask me, ask the Doctor, ask the Gladers, or my parents or Sam and Caine. To us it's every bit as real as your own life is. Anyways...
I "began" in the maze. So let's start there.

"Vixen!" He growled behind us. The sound of roaring engines deafened me. I could barely hear anything. We jumped down the steps and onto the pavement below. I looked back and saw Max just jump down the whole flight. Without hesitation too. The Doctor pulled me across the lot, "Vixen!!" I could hear the anger in his voice. Oh, it was either run or die for me now. I looked back once again and saw his eyes were dead black, his teeth looked sharper from a distance, and I was so scared, he looked like his muscles grew bigger, "Run!" The Doctor yelled at me. I focused on running. Where are we gonna go anyhow? I don't think Max is ever gonna stop chasing me. Not until I'm dead. Who am I? I'm a girl with no past. Well, not a good one anyway. I've had a terrible childhood, nothing good about it and now it carries on into my adult life. Well, what am I to do? Nothing, exactly. There's nothing I can do. But I did meet this one guy at the airport one day. Kind of a weird dude considering he calls himself The Doctor and seems to bring along girls to his "Trips". Yeah, that's how I got caught up in all of this, just comes up to me and asked "Do you wanna go on a trip?" Yeah, like that works. Ha! Well, funny enough, it did and now Max is after me and I'm running around with this guy. But this guy....this stranger....was the best thing that ever happened to me.Concluida

He hands you something and you start turning it in your hand almost immediately after receiving it. Looking down at it curiously to see some sort of wooden turn. It's kind of like the door handles, or a rower for a fishing rod. Except it's only the handle for a fishing rod. No rod or line. So it's basically just a fidgety piece of wood. You start turning both sides, spinning it around in your hand. "Easy there." Gally chuckles. He steps closer to you, rubbing his arm up and down your back to soothe you. "You doing okay?" "Yep." You chirp, grinning up at him. He double-checks your expression. His eye staring into yours to see how you're feeling. When he's sure you're not too stressed out, he removes his arm from you and throws a rag over his shoulder. "Okay, stick by me. Ya hyper little bunny..." Minho would fight for her. Newt would die for her. Thomas would kill for her. Gally would burn the whole world to the ground for her. Follow the journey of Eleanor, the only female glader, as she struggles to adjust to her new life in the Glade that takes her on a journey of love, loss, and friendship. (Gally x OC) Some notes to add: The central romance plot is between Eleanor and Gally but there is a subplot of Newtmas obviously. The story is inspired by the movies only, because the lore of the books goes quite deep and I don't think I will be able to write up to a standard that honors James Dashner's amazing legacy. Also, Eleanor is named after Eleanor Roosevelt which sticks to the idea that all main characters are named after famous scientists, inventors, and activists. Finally, this will be a three-part book for each movie and just to clarify, no smut!
