This is the story of two very similar yet totally different people. 
           Her name: Merida Van Dunbroch. She is the first born descendant of the clan Dunbroch. All she ever wanted in life, is her freedom and the ability to write her own destiny. Two years ago, Merida was introduced to suiters. She refused and one decision change her fate. 
           His name: Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third. He is a viking and is the son of the chief. And since his father died, he is now chief. He has a pet dragon named Toothless and he is a nightfury. He just wants to be himself.

This is the story of them meeting....

It's been a month since Dragons and Vikings were brought together, now the only thing left to do is train them. Its close to winter in Berk, putting everyone on edge for food. Hiccup, the chiefs son, also the one that brought dragons and Vikings together isn't worried about the snow at all. He's usually the one to take advantage of the snowy weather, going dragon sledding with Astrid and the gang. But when Hiccup, mysteriously falls ill with an unknown sickness, Stoik's worries for his survival in the cold grow. In hopes to cure his only son Stoik sets out to sea to find the right medicine leaving Hiccup in the constant care of Gobber and Astrid. When tragic strikes, and Hiccup is now left on his own, his chances of surviving become small.

- ORIGINAL VERSION - Hiccup Haddock was a child born on the village of Berk, then to be taken by a NightFury in a dragon raid without a trace. But while Stoick and Valka are trying to live while mourning for their lost son, Hiccup is living freely on a Santuarial island created by an Alpha dragon with his best friend, a dragon, the one who stole him, Toothless. Toothless has always told Hiccup that vikings are cruel, horrible people that kill dragons for the fun of it, and that he should stay as far away from them. But when Hiccup gets caught on a hostile, viking-dwelling island, he doesn't know what to do. The Chief's wife thinks it's unfair to torture a child like this, but when Stoick lays eyes on this boy, he has other plans. Will he and his dragon escape in time? Or will his parents soon find their lost son to be returned from the dead? [Original Version only means that there is a new edition, or rather; a Rewritten Copy, which is also in my works.]

Hiccup loses his memory and a new girl arrives to Berk. How can Astrid bring him back. Yes I know that this seems more like a Hiccstrid story but it's both.

Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third is the only son of Stoick the Vast, chief of the Hooligan tribe. As his only son, he is next in line for the chiefdom which wouldn't be a problem, if he wasn't a runt. Viking's believe that a name is what strikes fear into your enemies. Hiccup's obviously doesn't. The name is given to those who won't survive their first winter. Those who don't belong, those who will not be any more than a burden. Hiccup isn't an exception to this. I mean, sure he survived his first winter, and the next fifteen. But he caused problems, not on purpose. Things just happened when he was around. First when he was six, and a nearby furnace blew up when he lost his temper. Then when he was eight, nine, eleven. These strange happenings kept occurring, and nothing he did helped. Everything he did, everything he tried had some way of turning back on him. For the longest time he believe that the God's cursed him. But now, now he finds the blessings in the curse. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I really hope you enjoy this fanfic!! It focus' on Hiccup being a bit more than human. I am thinking more like connected to dragons, and Toothless as a whole.
