"Lyrics and Brushstrokes" follows 19-year-old Brooks, a famous pop star, and Dawson, a talented but mysterious artist, whose dad is the world famous painter, James Monroe. Their unlikely meeting at a club turns into a night filled with chemistry and maybe some fun;)

Brooks who is drunk, is helped by Dawson, who shows him a side of life that feels real for the first time in a long while. The problem? Neither of them even exchange last names, and they go their separate ways without a way to find each other again.

As fate brings them together once more, their connection deepens, though both are hiding something. Dawson, sweet yet serious, battles his own past and struggle to accept his sexuality, while Brooks is torn between his undeniable feelings for Dawson and the need to hide his sexuality for the sake of his "golden boy" image.
