Rose Hudson. To put it simply had what some may call an idle life, loving husband, good job, a lovely house, and a newborn son. But it all went down the drain the day the bombs dropped. Cryogenically frozen, Husband shot to death and infant son stolen by mysterious strangers.

Her life is thrown into shambles when she wakes up 210 years after that faithful day. She sets out to find her son, not knowing how long it has been since his abduction, hoping that he was alive and well.

Along the way she makes friends, enemies, and somehow manages to catch the eye of a faction's leader.
