Sometimes when mother was nice, she would tell me stories of the Nepulare, a being older that time itself, the source of powers and life. "Everyone has their own power, most commonly ist one or two different powers, some get three, a few get four, and Nepulare, She got all of them. She is the reason everyone has powers." Mother would hold me close, her voice calm and steady. "Nepulare is a being of reincarnation, she always come back looking the same" Mother would stroke my hair soothingly, while she described her. "Hair as red as the crack of dawn and the forest fires, eyes changing with her emotions, skin white as fresh fallen snow and a tattoo that shows different places and colors from life to life but always the same infinity sign." That had me giggling: "But mom you are just describing me." She kissed the top of my head and said "that's because it is you, my dear." ... Anastasia is a 16 year old girl, who grew up with her abusive adoptive family. Her mother was borderline and drug addicted, her father was a rapist. When she was 12 she got into an "accident" and she closed of to almost everyone. She was sent to a mental hospital until she would start on the best magic school in the world of Brochides.
