Ned has the ability to bring the dead back to life for only a minute, before something else has to die, but if he touches something dead once more, they die permanently. Once Ned brings his childhood sweetheart back to life, his whole life is changed. A year later, things are changing even faster, for the better, and worse. A murder occurs at a place that brings up some not-so-happy memories for Ned, making the case harder to solve than they expected.
***DISCLAIMER: I would recommend watching Pushing Daisies S1 and S2 before reading, it will be much easier to understand. This will be a bit more serious compared to the TV show, but still have the feeling of it. I'm still figuring out a working title.
