Being born as a girl in Jeju was a misfortune in itself. The people of this island were extremely toxic toward girls. Even women treated them like trash, so there was no need to even mention the men.

Jeon Jungkookie, a 19-year-old girl, was born on this beautiful yet cruel island called Jeju. Her only fault? Having an unlucky fate. In a place where girls were expected to be married before turning 16, she remained unmarried even at 19. Her family and relatives went to great lengths to make her believe that she was nothing but a curse-a misfortune upon the entire island.

On the other hand, Kim Taehyung, the only son of a millionaire, had just graduated and was exploring the country with his friends. To witness Jeju's breathtaking sights, they arrived on the island, hoping to create some happy and unforgettable memories.

But fate had other plans for him. One day, he found himself being forced into marriage with a complete stranger-a girl from this island, crying and looking like a ghost with her skeletal frame. However, Taehyung wanted nothing more than to get rid of his so-called wife as soon as possible.
