Determined to protect the person who matters most, Claire navigates deadly alliances and dangerous attention from Cato, the lethal tribute from District Two. As the Games unravel, Claire realizes that survival isn't just about strength - it's about sacrifice - and the Capitol's twisted rules are designed to break them all.
This is a Cato x OC fanfic, the romance is a sub-plot that grows (we all love a good slow burn), my main focus is on the brutality and inhumanity of the Games and our desired nature to survive.
This fanfic follows the Hunger Games trilogy made by Suzanne Collins. Although I took many creative liberties, the storyline and worldbuilding are almost entirely hers. I hope you enjoy!
