As I try letting in the feeling of losing my father like it was the reality I was facing, I feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn my head back and I see him. The one who made me fall for him and which was also the biggest mistake I had ever made in my almost perfect life with no mistakes. Almost.
"I am here for you Akshita," he tries assuring me with tears in his eyes.
I turn away from him, not wanting to meet his gaze. "Why are you here Rudransh?" I ask bluntly.
I shrug my shoulder and let out a sigh of relief as his hand was no longer there. I sense him breathing a sigh but I think of paying no heed to it.
"Because...." I hear him but I still don't turn my head towards him. "I want to be with you."
He says this and my entire core feels shaking. I turn towards him, lifting my head to meet his gaze and he holds my hands, bringing it closer to his face. "What did you say?" I question him almost instantly.
"I can't be away from you," he replies quickly.
