Suzaku agreed with Lelouch plan called 'Zero Requiem', where he'll kill Lelouch in front of everyone and take his position as Zero, the new hero and savior.
Everything goes as they plan except for one thing, Lelouch didn't die... more like to say he couldn't kill him. At the very last minute, Suzaku saved Lelouch from death and held him as captive for years, away from everyone.
Lelouch didn't expect for Suzaku to saved him. He knew how much he hated him and Suzaku never failed to remind him how he killed his first love, Euphimia/ Euphie. But despite that he couldn't hate Suzaku, he just accepted everything as his punishment.
Suzaku thought that making Lelouch suffer will help him appease his hatred for him. He even cross the line between them, to crushed every pride and ego left to Lelouch. But he's not prepared for the warmth and longing he'll feel while in Lelouch's arms.
Is this the time for them to let go the feelings their been keeping for a long time? Or let the guilt inside them break them apart?

When attempting to work it out, you find each other to have a hard time even making it possible. Making the situation worse the longer you bond after lost time. "Almost Enough." takes place as Suguru is going through his mental spiral. He tried to leave Satoru and being a Jujutsu Sorcerer behind as a whole that summer when he realized all they were only needed for but Satoru didn't want him to because Satoru was clueless about this fact. So he convinced him to come back and stay and be a Jujutsu Sorcerer so they could be the strongest together. So now it's their third year at Tokyo Jujutsu High/Tech and Suguru hadn't gotten any better. He didn't try to make any progress once he got back. He would stay in his dorm, locked away from Satoru and their other friends while they were all training and getting better. So when their third school year finally started, he was still in shambles and he was considered "weak" and "less than" the rest of his friends. He didn't want this anyway, he wanted to leave and not come back. Yet he also wanted to make Satoru happy. So he stayed. This is the Wattpd public version of my fanfiction "Almost Enough." I hope you all enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it. There are a lot of meanings in this story with some of the things written.
