In a parallel world, love is forbidden.
Long ago, Fey lived a different way. They embraced love, and lived in a perfect harmony.
But peace doesn't last. One day, everything changed. A Fire Fey who called himself 'The Unifier' invaded the other Elements (Earth, Ice and Storm) with his supporters, and used their love against them. It wasn't long before he controlled Faery as a whole.
The war for love went on for a century before the gods of Faery, the Elementals Intervened. They created a new type of Fey, learls. Half Fey, half Elemental, and deadly to both.
The first learl saved Faery. But no gratitude was given. The Fey were too afraid of him. They killed him, and put an end to learls. But they couldn't go back to living the way they had.
They vowed not to fight anymore, and never again would they let love be their weakness. Love was banned, and they formed The Circle, a ruling committee on which a representative from each Element was chosen. They world has stayed this way since.
Kestrel has always obeyed the rules. Falling in love has never been an option, and she has never considered it.
One day, she is sent to kill a learl. Instead, she finds a boy with a gentle soul. Touched, she begins to question what her beliefs were made up of.
When the time comes, will she follow her head, or her heart?

The Lost Life of Laraine
She lead a rather tragic life. The black sheep of her family due to her lack of affinity for fire. Her affinity was quite the opposite. Water in fact. Already in a time when women did not really have much political power or rights, she was outcasted by her family despite being of nobility. Still allowed to live in the distant west wing of the massive Grand Duke's manor, she has never eaten a single meal with her family nor extended family, and has spent her loneliness in her books and sword lessons. Although only taught by the head butler and one of the low ranked knights of the family, she was quite bright and if her family would have given her a chance she would have done great things. If only she didn't die at such a young age. Married off to some "hero" of sort that had slayed the Dragon of the North who was terrorizing the land and threatened the kingdom, this hero also had an affinity for fire and held her in disdain like the rest of her family. Suddenly a girl of another world was transported to their world, picked up by this hero and put into his secure care. The pair soon fell for each other despite the hero's marriage, and many believed Laraine got jealous of this girl of mystery, and tried to kill her. This was definitely not true. But because the girl was favored by the temple and kingdom Laraine was quickly arrested and put on trial. You can probably tell what happened to Laraine. But something strange happened the day of her execution. As soon as her decapitated head hit the ground the sky turned blood red and it began to rain fire. No one survived that day. But for some reason time went back, and Laraine was back to being a child, but with no memory of her future. There were select few in her life, however, that remembered her tragedy and now perhaps will take action to prevent it. NOTE: I'M AWARE THERE ARE A LOT OF INCONSISTENCIES. IT WILL BE EDITED SOME DAY BUT RIGHT NOW I'M JUST TRYING TO FINISH IT.

I was the daughter of Duke Solon, I thought I was the last child. My elder brother is following in my father's stead. We were never really close. We both share my father's personality, a wedge that makes it hard for the three of us to talk to one another. It was fine, living like that, I mean. I was the daughter of the Duke, engaged to the Prince who didn't seem to care that much about the engagement. I was the Master of Ancient Magic at the Magic Tower. I had everything and I was stronger than most. The only terrible thing was that on my coming of age ceremony, it was all ruined. Catherina broke into my ball, claiming to be the daughter of some woman and my father. She looked like her mother and acted like her to gain my father's affection, society's adoration and the Prince's love. For two years she ruined me up to the point of my death. She somehow was able to frame me and villainize me as she stole my fiancé and life. She continued doing so until I somehow was framed for attempted murder. My father called me a traitor and a liar, the Prince sentenced my death and no one stopped it. I woke in my body again, 18 years old and with a plan. I don't want the Prince who will ridicule me, embarrass me and choose the woman over me. I don't care for all those who supported her over me. I had one plan. Kill her before she kills me.

18+ Trigger warning for talk of suicide/drugs.* A story about a young human girl who tries to steal from a fae man. She gets put in a cell under the royal palace, waiting for her 18th birthday. While in jail, she meets a young boy, they develop a friendship that turns into something more. By her 18th birthday instead of a trial and the execution she's been waiting for she gets a whole lot more. This is a fully done story that is 35 ch, exactly 128,210 words. If you're just looking for smut ch. 14, 17, 30, 31, and 33 Preview Ivy felt like she had been lit on fire, a cold icy fire that was burning her alive. "I wish you were dead", she hissed at him as she broke the kiss. "Do it, kill me", he hissed back. She went for his throat, the lessons definitely helped but she was no match for him. "One day you'll be able to best me. Lucky for me that day isn't today." Ivy had wanted to claw his eyes out, "you're a monster." "So is everyone." "Not everyone kills seventeen guards." "You're right, only the strong kill in our world. Too bad we don't live in a fairytale." "Don't dare make me feel insane, it's insane, the world we live in! The death that surrounds SkyWood is sickening!" "It's utter insanity, love." "I hate it", "as do I." Than release me from our bargain! Let me live a life free of you!" Ivy said talking of her sworn allegiance to him for two years. "No!" He said before slamming his mouth back to hers. Their kisses were insanity. Crazy to a fault. "I love you." Ivy hated when he said it, "no you don't. One with a black heart cannot love." "I fucking love you with my whole black heart." "You don't know what love is. You love the idea of love. You love how loving me makes you feel." "And how does loving you make me feel?" "Like your heart isn't black." "Fair enough." He walks forward, pressing the blade into his throat. His skin is taunt against the serrated edge, and blood beads around it until it drips down his neck in a crimson trail. My eyes widened, wanting it. He is looking at me with those dangerous, glinting green eyes, daring me. "Kill me, then. If you feel nothing, you can kill me. Then you can leave.The choice is up to you. It always has been," He whispers. His words leave me as cold as the blade at his throat. My heart is subjected to this stabbing pain, like I'd turned the knife on myself, and I would rather it be like that. "But if you don't," he whispers," you are mine and all mine. We will rule the dawn of a new age, we will complete our bond, and you will forget about her. Make your choice." I can hear my heart beat in my ears, and I swallow agaisnt the rush. These are my options. Kill him, or agree to be his. I make my own choice. I can not take my freedom away. I can not be the mate he wants, but I can not kill him. With a deep breath, I turn the knife on myself. Aurora, a girl with only one name and abandoned at birth in a war torn land, finds herself lost in a sea of witches, drowning in everything she can never have. Or so she thinks, the night a divine interference rips her from her home leads to a butterfly effect of deadly, chaotic spirals.
