"The future cannot exist without a past... That too applies to the present"

The balancers between the living and the dead were the reapers and living among them was a vampire by the name, Baizou. Living in the Underworld wasn't all too bad as he'll soon play the role of a reaper to collect and guide the souls. But one day, he met a demon called "Barbatos" who seems to have something in mind, guiding him down to a path which he doesn't know himself. That lead to the questioning of his future.

As there are irl places mentioned, keep in mind this is a fictional novel. Some names are done purposely but names of specific locations as in real life cities and towns are purely by coincidence unless I clarify.
