Despite only being nineteen, Maddison Grant has been through a lot.
First, it was losing part of her lower right leg to sarcoma when she was only six. Then it was losing her father two years ago thanks to a drunk driver.
Now, she is finishing the last few months of her senior year, while also taking part in her school's early college program. However, she has no clue where her future lies outside of taking over the ice rink her parents purchased for her to use to create her own legacy.
Then, an unexpected figure skating superstar arrives, transferring to the rink and bringing her coach with her. The only problem is that this figure skater is the very one she has been harboring a crush on for years.
