A modern man finds himself in Westeros after his untimely death. More specifically, in the body of no one other than King Viserys I Targaryen, the man who set the path to one of the bloodiest conflicts in the Seven Kingdoms' history. Armed with knowledge of what is to come and with a strong will to not let it happen, he is going to stop at nothing to change the destiny of his new family and save the House of the Dragon, and the whole of Westeros, from destruction.

(This is my first time writing a story and I'm not fluent in english, so please be patient with me 🙇‍♀️)

Or canon!Viserys gets replaced by someone with an actual spine and that puts his family first. This is a feel good story for everyone that felt personally victimized by how fucking tragic canon is. A lot of fluff and wholesomeness and little to no drama/angst because George already gave us enough of it to last for a lifetime. If you want to see the Targs being happy and cute, this is for you.

Princess Annelyse was the second and youngest daughter of King Viserys to his first wife, Queen Aemma Arryn. Despite both of her parents having their traditional silver hair, Annelyse inherited the blonde hair of her two grandmothers, Princess Alyssa and Queen Alysanne. She was called Lysie by those people who are close to her. The princess is said to be a mixture of Alyssa and Alysanne. Kind and good but at the same time, Annelyse can show everyone the dragon inside her. Not afraid to speak her mind, a protective daughter and sister, she can do a bit of mischief if she is in the mood to jest and her fascination with sword fighting was influenced by her uncle Daemon. When Aemma died, it brought huge sorrow to her. She love her mother dearly and when her older sister, Rhaenyra was declared Heir to the Iron Throne, Lysie promised that she will keep her safe and help her. The two sisters became the anchor of each other after the passing of their mother. They have a close bond and it only gets stronger when their father decided to have a new wife. But it did not last long. Prince Daemon wants power. He lusted for the throne. He wanted to be king. Princess Rhaenyra is a one-way ticket for his ambitions. If he wants to take the throne, it's either he disgraces his eldest niece or takes her for himself. However, if he does that it's either his plans work and be Rhaenyra's husband or she will be disinherited like him. The throne might pass to Annelyse or to the king's firstborn son, Prince Aegon. The princess wants to control her life in the way she wants it. The prince desire the crown and the Iron Throne. The Heir struggles to perform her duties and carry all the responsibilities. The firstborn son doesn't want to rule. The Green Queen only wants the survival of her children. Maelys Blackfyre was the last one to try and conquer the Iron Throne during the War of the Ninepenny Kings. Daemon, his cousin, was also killed by Maelys in order to get control of the Golden Company. Unbeknownst to Maelys, Daemon had a son called Aegon. Aegon fled after seeing his father being murdered and set out to travel among the Free Cities of Essos. After a few years of mercenary work, he settled near Volantis and started a family. Now his daughter, Visenya Blackfyre, is going on a journey that will change Westeros and Essos for generations. ~ I do not own Game of Thrones or any of the characters except my own~ I like to thank bobissocool11 for creating his book 'A Dragon's Flame'. It inspired me to write this story and it may have some overlap with that story. I highly recommend you read his/her story. Lastely, this is my first story ever. I hope you will enjoy it. Yes, I know, another story. This one showed up in my head about a week ago and it will not go away until I wrote it down. I couldn't even write my other stories because this one would not go away. Rhaenyra and Daemon slept together during their trip to the pleasure house and Rhaenyra gets pregnant. Viserys gives Rhaenyra an ultimatum and she makes the wrong choice. Daemon takes Visenya to Essos, where he raises her alone. Visenya Targaryen grows up away from Westeros. Daemon gets a letter from Rhaenys asking for his help and he and Visenya return to Westeros where she meets her uncle Aemond. Like mother, like daughter, but unlike Rhaenyra Visenya has no intention of giving up the man she loves for anything. This story will not follow the TV show or the book timeline. This is a love story where the dance of the dragons does not happen. In this story, Alicent married Viserys when Rhaenyra was 8 years old and Aemond is born when Rhaenyra is 12.
