So, what if the BFDI characters decided to go to a MacDonalds? This is Leafy's POV BTW- I think, maybe, mostly her POV.
Leafy had been working at the MacDonalds for the past FOUR years after BFDI. And oh look who decided to show up? Firey. Now the two hate each other, never gotten over their conflict, maybe never will.

If you asked Firey what the biggest mistake he had ever made was, you'd probably expect him to say "Not letting Leafy onto Dream Island." A completely reasonable and fair guess for an answer. However, this is not the case, because if Firey had let Leafy onto Dream Island.. he never would've met Gelatin.
