The thirteenth Black Crusade has broken the Cadian gate and the forces of chaos spill into the Imperium of man from the great rift and lay siege to humanity. The Dercanian sector is such a place that finds itself in this situation as well. Torn between its own noble houses and their Mechanicus and Astartes allies, the sector decends into a war it has not seen since the days of the Horus Heresy. Now it must fight for its survival with a increasingly paranoid king seeing enemies from both without and within. All the while the imperial guard fight untill their last breath to defend the sector they call their home, holding out for as long as possible, never knowing if reinforcements will ever come.
But even within the invader's ranks, schemes are made, plans hatched and loyalty an ever increasing rarity. And for them, speed is of the essence, for the warmaster's will is not easily defied.All Rights Reserved

A Planetary Defense Force squad led by a former Imperial Guard trooper are sent on a mission to a seemingly innocuous facility in the vast forests of their home world. Before long, the true nature of the situation at Facility IX becomes clear, and the squad are in a fight for their lives against a terrifying and insidious enemy. The work was not selected to be taken any further, so I am uploading it here in the hopes that someone will still be able to enjoy it. Please let me know what you think!
