This story begins in the historical world of the 'Tudors'. King Henry has proceeded to move on with his third wife Jane Seymour after the execution of Anne Boleyn. Elisabeth Seymour is Jane's younger sister- she has seen the joys of her sisters marriage and the happiness it has brought. Now she longs to belong in that very same world. So when she meets Frederick, a hawk-trainer at the King's court, she cannot help but be near to him. And in time, love does blossom. But there is something different about Frederick...something also sinister...and it is Elisabeth's destiny to find out...
