To this day, we all know the story of Imhotep.
A High Priest devoted to Seti I, he was condemned to the worst torture, the Hom Dai, for his clandestine relationship with the concubine and future wife of the pharaoh, Anck Su Namun.
However, there is a missing piece from his story, a fragment that no one has passed down: the dark priest in the world did not love just one woman, but two, albeit in completely different ways.
In fact, he had an adopted daughter, Neferet, to whom he was immensely fond.
Obviously, however, once he had suffered his atrocious sentence, he never saw her or his beloved again.
Despite this, in the 3000 years spent in the dark and gloomy afterlife, Imhotep never forgot his only two joys in life.
And the one who will pay the price for this will be Y/n.

This is going to be based 1990's 'The Mummy'. However, since I love Egypt and the movie so much I was going to try to make my own X reader type book. I always had the tendency to feel bad for the villains, but I don't think Imhotep was really a bad guy. It's just he had a lot of hatred and vengeance for those who cursed him for loving someone after she killed herself. So due to this I'm going to change the story just a tad, and have a more happy ending. I am also naming her after Seti the first real daughter named Tia. I do not own any of the characters besides my Oc Akila/Tia. Akila Carnahan, is the half-sister of Evelyn and Jonathan. Her brother and sister are half Egyptian while Akila was fully Egyptian. She worked with her sister at the Museum of Antiquities in Cario, Egypt. After she and her siblings found the key and the map to Hamunaptra they went to see a man named Rick O'Connell. They all travel to Hamunaptra, not knowing Americans were going as well to the city of the dead. The night they were heading to Hamunaptra on the boat she got constant visions more than she usually did about her past life. How much will she learn of her old life while in Hamunaptra? What will happen when her sister Evelyn accidentally revives Imhotep from the dead with the book? Will she remember her love with the High Priest? Will she help send him back to his holy resting place or will she be the one to keep balance between them all?Concluida
