Normani was happily married or so it seemed to anyone on the outside looking in. To tell you the truth....her marriage was indeed a happy one.....in the beginning. Once faced with losing his job, her husband, Devion quickly spirals and begins to feel out of sorts by not having the financial structure that he once had. This leads to much more as this is only the cause of multiple problems in their relationship. Dinah enters Normani's life in a casual way but the encounter leads to something else entirely. Something that shouldn't even be taking place. Normani ultimately finds herself enjoying the blonde's company despite being a married woman and It's a secret she can only hope will stay a secret. But doesn't everything that's done in the dark come to the light? How long will she be able to live out this fairytale before reality starts to set in?

What happens when Normani starts falling for her girlfriend's best friend? What happens when Dinah returns those feelings for her best friend's girl? I hate that you ain't your Bestfriend.. ------ Short story that is slightly based off of Kiana Ledè & Kehlani's Ur Best Friend. Mild mention of rape, abuse, violence, and death. Triggering chapters are marked with barriers. I do not own any pictures or songs used in this book, they are for visual purposes only.
