➻ When Kagome brings Kikyo to the modern world to heal her wounds and escape Naraku's influence, a twist of fate causes Kagome and Kikyo to be trapped in the past while Inuyasha and Kouga are stranded in the present. As each pair struggles to adjust to their new reality, old feelings are questioned and new bonds begin to form, unexpectedly tender, awkward, and real.

Kagome and Kikyo grow closer, facing monsters and memories as they rediscover each other beyond rivalry and regret. Inuyasha and Kouga, meanwhile, bicker their way through daily life at the Higurashi shrine. Until growing tension and shy attraction force them to confront feelings they can't name. But the portal between their worlds refuses to reopen, blocked by unspoken truths.
