Dionysus is a warrior for his country, his territory, his home. He wishes and even prays for victory, wishing not to fail his home, to let it die.
Finley is also a warrior for his own home, fighting against Dionysus' country for stealing lots of treasures and valuable items such as Finley's family wine which is worth a fortune.
But Finley is Dionysus' greatest enemy and was captured and now remains a prisoner taken by Dionysus himself. He kept him captured till he made his escape, sending Dionysus to look for him once more. But once they're found, something changed.
During the years, Dionysus' hate for Finley wavers and finally disappears, his love for him strangely bringing him closer to Finley. He questions himself: "Why do I love him? He should be my enemy. We shouldn't be in love." But that was only his denial talking.
Finley, on the other hand, felt the same crisis as Dionysus. Except that his love was softer and his hatred wasn't as intense as Dionysus'.
