"Relax," Dabi muttered, his voice low and mocking. "We're not killing you. Not yet. You're worth more alive. Your blood... it's got potential. The Doc's gonna love this."
He leaned closer, blue eyes glinting.
"Nomu don't just pop out of nowhere. They need fuel. And you, Akari... you're prime fuel. Violent, unstable, multiple quirks. You're exactly the kind of foundation we've been looking for."
My stomach twisted.
"You're monsters."
Dabi smirked.
"Maybe. But monsters get results. Heroes? They just get kids like you killed."
