Set in Texas, 1991, Ethel is a young women who lives in the deep southland and has a father who was a beloved pastor. Though the light shines bright at church, there is darkness to come in ethel's story. As she grows up she starts to lose faith in religion, and goes out chasing boys and living her own life, but everything will take a dark turn for the worst.
*NOTE*: this whole story is loosely based on the songs and whole storyline of the album preacher's daughter by Ethel Cain, some of it might be true and some of it might be my writing. If you want to know the full Ethel Cain lore, I recommend YouTube videos explaining it more in depth!
