In a world where spirits walk alongside mortals and ancient powers sleep beneath the earth, conflict is inevitable.

Wars have been fought. Deals have been made. And all of it, time and time again, has been in pursuit of one thing: **The All**-a mythical source said to grant boundless knowledge, power, or something even more unimaginable. No one knows exactly what it is. But everyone wants it.

Some are born with the gift to sense spirits. Others can speak to them. A rare few? They become *vessels*-living bridges between the physical and the spiritual world.

**Tojo**, a member of the Kurojin-an isolated clan of animalistic humans who've survived for thousands of years-was born as one of those rare few.

Marked by an ancient force that sleeps within him, Tojo was raised with a single directive: protect the clan. Stay loyal. Serve as the vessel. And never question his role.

But when a legendary warrior returns from the brink of death with a chilling message and a mysterious coin, Tojo's world begins to shift. The village he's sworn to protect suddenly feels small. The training meant to prepare him now feels like a cage. And something deep inside is *pulling* him-far beyond the trees, beyond his elders, and toward a place no one has ever returned from whole.

**Heaven's Pocket.**
Where legends go to die.
Where truth may finally live.

Torn between the expectations placed on him and the whisper of his own destiny, Tojo must decide who he wants to be in a world where the line between spirit and man is paper thin, and where following your purpose may lead to ruin-or revelation.

A long journey that I literally walked through the fire to save. It was the one thing I managed to save when my house burned to the ground a year ago. I'm putting it out here for the first time for people to read. Please let me know what you think and thank you for taking the time. Hopefully we'll continue to enjoy this journey together. This is a tale of Slade, a young boy who was convinced his life didn't matter. He lives in a massive empire that was carved out of hundreds of frightened villages centuries ago during the Long Night. Now what was once an army of adventurers and guild members is now one of the greatest forces in the world. But strange forces seek to undo all of this when the Withered Hand unleashes a sleeping sickness that deprives of waking child of tomorrow. Slade and his friends are the only ones that manage to escape the clutches of the Nightmare King. Now, with the help of the ancient wizard Rune, they will travel the Empire, enlisting the aid of the sage Guilds, each keepers of a different type of knowledge and skill, to find a way to wake the children of the Empire once again. *Each of the 4 guilds has a special focus of knowledge. They are: The Engineers: Designers and builders of machinery The Sorcerers: The keepers of the arcane and magic The Alchemists: The workers of change and transmutation, seeing what can be changed from one element to the next The Apothecaries: Keepers of the body. "Before she was a warrior, she was a whisper. Before she was a whisper she was a wound. And before the wound.. there was the moon." There are stories the world forgets. Not because they are unimportant - but because they are too important. Too close to the bone. Too full of blood and silence and shadow. The tale of the moon is one such story. Before the world was carved by blade and breath, there were gods that watched over men. Some gave fire. Some gave sea. But the moon gave silence, peace - and the night it's language. It cast light not to reveal, but to protect. To shield the broken, the hunted, the mourning. And when the first warrior stood with blood on her hands and sorrow in her chest, it was the moon that bowed first. It had always bowed to pain. It has always followed the lost. Even now. Even still. There was once a man named Tsugikuni Michikatsu. He carried greatness on his shoulders like a crown of flame - and fell with the weight of it. In his youth, he was destined for legend. In his grief, he became a demon. A moonlit mockery of the warrior he once was. But before his soul was devoured by darkness, before his blood turned rot, something was born inside him - something forged not of blood or rage, but of loyalty. A guardian, a shadow. A creature older than the trees, with eyes of forgotten gods. Tsukiyomi. My KNY AU put into book format. This is a fanfic. There may be ships you don't like, there will be descriptive scenes of blood and fights.

‎--- ‎ ‎Prologue: When Time Bled ‎ ‎In the beginning, the world was silent. ‎ ‎The rivers had not yet carved the earth. The skies had not yet known the sun. All that existed was Time-endless, unbroken, untamed. ‎ ‎From that void, a figure stepped forth. Cloaked in eternity, crowned by shadows, he was the first to name himself Lord. The Lord of Time. ‎ ‎With a gesture, he unraveled nothingness into hours, minutes, seconds. With a breath, he bound stars to their paths, chained suns to their cycles, and shackled mortals to the fleeting measure of their days. ‎ ‎But even Time cannot reign without hunger. And so he reached beyond his dominion, seeking vessels in which to pour his power-creatures, mortals, children who might one day carry fragments of his eternity. ‎ ‎Most shattered beneath the weight. ‎ ‎One did not. ‎ ‎From the loins of man and the womb of woman, he planted a seed: an heir. A child of two worlds. Flesh and blood... and eternity. ‎ ‎Yet fate has always been cruel. ‎ ‎The mother, cast into the desolate Survival Lands, bore her son in exile. She fed him with her hands, shielded him with her body, and prayed he would never hear the ticking of the father's clock within his veins. ‎ ‎But the Lord of Time does not forget. ‎ ‎For though the world may bleed and the stars may crumble, every hour returns to him. Every path converges at his throne of broken hours. ‎ ‎And when the child of covenant rises, his steps shall echo across timelines, shattering bonds, forging pacts, and tearing open mysteries long untold. ‎ ‎The covenant has already been written. ‎The question is only this: ‎ ‎Will he break it-or be broken by it? ‎ ‎ ‎---
