If anyone dares to modify you, they will destroy a one of a kind, and-" Oh. I get it now. I know what to do. I see his body tensing. I put my hand on his shoulder. It tenses even more. I trail my hand down his arm and fit mine in his. His body relaxes. He stares at our hands, as if he doesn't know what to do next. Maybe he doesn't. With my free hand, I tilt his chin up, to where he looks at me, and he does. His fierce green eyes blocking out the rest of the world. He leans in and fits his mouth to mine.'
