Finally Eggman is giving Sonic a break or at least that's what he thinks. Its a nice sunny day Sonic and his friends (including Shadow and Rouge) are having a picnic. Tails realizes that there is huge energy spikes coming from Eggman's layer. Sonic and his team try to investigate what the doctor could be working on now! Another robot that will be defeated by Sonic once again? Or something else? As always Sonic runs ahead of his friends and right into danger risking his life! Will Sonic finally learn that going ahead on his own right into danger isn't the best choice?

After a series of intense battles, Amy begins to quietly suffer the effects of burnout, stress, and overexertion mentally and physically. Her usual spark starts to dim as she secretly pushes herself too hard, eating less, sleeping less, and distancing herself from her friends.
