"Stop it. We're in college. Behave," I warned softly, trying not to melt into him.

But he wasn't listening.

His fingers slid under the hem of my top, slowly, deliberately, until they touched the bare skin of my lower back. His touch was warm, teasing.

"Ayaan!" I breathed, but it came out more like a plea than a warning.

"What?" he asked, voice sinfully soft. "You don't want me to give a good speech? Hmm, Kritika?"

He leaned in, pressing his forehead against mine, his breath hot against my lips.

"I think you want me to fail. That's why you're holding back."

My hands clutched the front of his shirt. "I'm not-God, you're insane."

"No," he murmured. "I'm just mad about you."
