Boogeyman Bay: Summertime Blood

Summer has finally arrived in Boogeyman Bay, and Calliope is done hoping for love. Done waiting. Done trying to be good. All she wants now is to let loose and survive the heat, the tourists, and her own restless ghosts.

Then a body washes up on the beach. The marks left behind aren't human. Tentacle-shaped bruises, wrong in a way Calliope recognises immediately. Whatever happened here didn't come from a man, and it feels far too familiar - like winter never really ended, like the horrors she barely escaped are clawing their way back to the surface.

As the town reels, Calliope is forced to confront more than the thing lurking beneath the waves. The past resurfaces too - in the form of the man who broke her heart, the one she never truly escaped, and the memories she buried along with him.

This summer, Boogeyman Bay isn't just hiding a monster in the water. It's calling back the love, the fear, and the wounds Calliope thought were buried.
