Why? Aside from the fact that they've raised and took care of Astrid since their parents' died, it's also out of guilt because of what she did four years ago that put their eldest brother in a comatose. 

Now, Astrid is twenty-one and still lives her life the way her brothers expects her to, controlling every aspects of her life to the point she no longer knows who she really is and what she really wants. But as long as her brothers are pleased and happy with her, Astrid no longer cared. 

That is until she meets a enigmatic man named Atreus Evans. Everything began to change for Astrid as she slowly gets to know Atreus. Sweet and gentle Astrid managed to charm the brooding man who hides secrets of his own. 

And as Astrid and Atreus got even more closer, for the first time in her life, Astrid wanted to put herself and her happiness first, no longer caring about her strict, overprotective brothers.
