The letter arrived thirty years too late. Max Rivers never wanted to return to Somerville-not after what happened at Fun Land. But the yellowed envelope, scrawled with his name in a shaky hand, dragged him back. Inside, a single message: "Welcome home, Max. The park has been waiting for you." Now, standing before the rusted gates of his father's abandoned amusement park, Max feels the weight of its silence. The carousel's skeletal horses watch him with hollow eyes. The air hums with the ghost of carnival music, though no one has set foot here in decades. And in the shadows, something moves-a twisted figure with a rabbit's grin, its gaze burning with recognition. Fun Land is more than ruins. It's alive. And after all these years... it's hungry. Will Max uncover the park's horrifying secret? Or will he become its next attraction?

I'm running. As fast as my thin legs can take me. Running at my super speed, and going between trees, bushes, and pure darkness. I hear his footsteps gaining on me, and his angry hiss filling through the misty air. My heart pounding out of my chest. My vision becoming blurry of the unshed tears. Crying out in agony as my legs begin to burn from the exhausting chase. Ignoring the pain, I pushed myself like I've never pushed myself before. Hope started to fill my mind. I could live a normal life without him. I won't have to marry him anymore. I can be free. Smiling through my tears I relished having that happiness, but all to soon it was snatched away when his muscular arms wrapped around me. Harshly pulling me against his body, he whispered acidly in my ear. "Did you really think I'd let you go that easily!?" Hi, my name is Aubrey Price and I've just been kidnapped.
