This is a Fan-Fiction based upon the BBC series 'Merlin': Merlin is busy as usual working as King Arthur's servant. He rarely gets a good night's sleep, and it's beginning to take its toll on him. The king begins to notice. Love is growing between Arthur and Gwen, which is a joy to some, but a curse to others. Morgana goes all in to prevent Gwen from taking her place as queen beside Arthur on the throne of Camelot. She is prepared to do anything to win and is now more determined than ever to discover who Emrys truly is. Will Merlin be able to keep up appearences and at the same time fulfill his destiny? Will he have enough strength to defeat Morgana? And perhaps most importantly; will Arthur finally learn the truth? A Herald of a New Age
Revealfic set after 4x10: The Druid boy leaves a lasting impression on Arthur and in an attempt to fulfill his promise to the spirit he sets out to find the Druid tribes of Camelot and bring them together to make peace. He learns of stories, prophecies and of Emrys. He also can't get it out of his mind that the Druids are acting strange around his manservant, but he is sure the truth will come out soon enough, after all- Merlin couldn't keep a secret if his life depended on it. "I am Sir Lancelot Du Lac, a knight of Camelot." Lancelot calls into the emptiness. "I wish to speak with the king of dragons, if he is willing." Lancelot's voice echoes through the chamber, like a whispered wind inside of a long abandoned castle. "King Arthur?" Lancelot attempts again, his voice far smaller than before. "I heard your first request, Sir Lancelot." A voice booms throughout the cavern. Lancelot stills and a tremor moves through his body. "I am merely considering whether it is worth my time to consider whether you are being truthful or merely attempting to steal something from me." --------------------------------------------------------- There are dark works and darker magic at play in Camelot. A tyrant king rules with an iron and bloody fist, striking down any who oppose his cruelty. Sir Lancelot has never been one to stand down when faced with corruption and he will stand for it no longer. His mother, Lady Nimue, would tell stories of the king of dragons, King Arthur, and how his past was spent protecting the kingdom of Camelot before his disappearance. Perhaps a desperate knight with a deal can pull him back into a world that needs him. Maybe they kiss a little too.
