Cole fell in love with a girl through texting. But then he discovered how young she was at the age of 16, looking like a toddler with her baby face, while him, on the other hand, was nearing his 20th birthday. It just wouldn't work, especially when they were a region away from one another. He had decided to ignore her, her texts piling up like unread mails on the floor. But with each message she sends him, the more he comes to a realization on how much he had damaged her from the moment he ghosted her. With every word shows a shattered fragment of her heart. With every word suggests how massive Cole had an impact on her life. The messages continue on and on, and one day, it had stopped after she sent one last text. One last text that states her leave, one last text that says she finally wants to move on and forget about him. But now that he has seen how much he mattered to her, is Cole willing to do the same? To let go of someone who valued him more than he could ever value himself? [ short, text-based story ─ completed ]
