The right of succession is often written in blood. With his kingdom on the brink of ruin, Alexander leads a rebellion, putting an end to his father's tyranny once and for all. Thinking the worst is behind them, the citizens of Lagaundriel move forward into a new age of prosperity.
But keeping the sins of the past buried is no simple task. When it seems the palace itself begins speaking to Alexander, he finds himself struggling not to retrace the steps of his predecessor.
This is the first part of my cosmic horror novella, released so as I continue to refine the second half.
