Forced into an arranged marriage with a warlord who has no use for her, she is meant to be discarded, destroyed, or forgotten. But she has spent a lifetime surviving treachery-she will not break so easily.
Bound by duty and divided by centuries of hatred, their marriage is a battlefield of its own. But as war brews at their borders and enemies circle in the shadows, they will have to decide: will they be each other's ruin... or their only salvation?
