This is an age regression story. It takes place in a world where there are littles, caregivers, switches, and those who don't fall under any category and live "normal" lives. Every person takes a test at 16 that tells them what they are and assigns them a soulmate at the same time.
16-year-old Finley was a smaller guy, but still very athletic, and never in a million years expected to be anything other than normal. He's quite unsure about a lot of things in his life, but the one thing he is sure about is that he hates Jameson. The feeling is very mutual for 16-year-old Jameson, who has known since he was about 10 years old that he was meant to be a caretaker. Littles made his heart melt.

There had been an increase in violent crimes and stalking by unknown means, all centered around NYC. Of course, Spider-Man decided to search for the answers as all those who were caught had either no memory of doing what they did or vague memories and guilt of slipping into old habits. Good News! He figured that the "criminals" were victims of one villain using a weapon that "reverts one's mind back to a previous time" temporarily and turns that state up by eleven. Bad News! He got hit with the weapon and Tony arrived in time to see it. (This was a slightly early submission for Comics AgeRe Week 2024! It's a bit of a different type of age regression fic as its two types: Forced Back by a Weapon and the Age Regression you would see from AgeRe Littles.
