Fighting the Corruption (Scarian Superhero AU)
Hotguy is Hermit City's newest hero, and everyone seems to love him. Well, almost everyone. Grian can't stand the city's newest "personal military member". When his younger brother almost gets killed just for being an avian, maybe those Dogwarts "Terrorist" don't look so bad... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I really tried to make this description/title decent, but I don't think it worked. And let's not even talk about the cover... This is gonna be book 1 in this AU. Enjoy!
What Does it Mean to be a Hero? || DDVAU || Scarian
This story starts right after chapter 15 of Double Hearted by Kitsuneisi on Tumblr. Cover art was also created by Kitsuneisi. After Grian is released from the hospital things aren't the same between Hotguy and Cuteguy. Hotguy trying to make up for his mistakes leads to an unexpected discovery that could change the lives of mutants everywhere, and changes his relationship with Grain and Cuteguy. They grow closer as the world around them changes. This is also my first fanfiction in 5-6 years I want to note that I am a physically disabled man myself and an ambulatory wheelchair, cane, and brace user, so a lot of what I write in this about experiencing disability is based on my own personal experiences. I, however, do not have a neuromuscular condition like Scar and this will definitely not be accurate to his real condition.

Just some scarian stuff I don't ship the real life people just the characters I have dyslexia so sorry for the spelling and punctuation and typos and all the other stuff :( I will write fluff and angst but I'm aroace so no smut as I feel uncomfortable writing it. I put trigger warnings at the start of chapters. 'Being tortured isn't that bad once you get used to it' After years of the AHA, or Annihilating Hazardous Anomalies, plucking his feathers from his wings and torturing him, Grian has lost all hope of getting out of his chains. Until one day a new employee comes in and instead of torturing him, he sets Grian free. I do not ship any of the real people, only their personas. This is my first story so if you have anything that you don't like please tell me and I will improve from it! There is blood and gore in this story so if you don't like that sort of stuff then don't read this. There is also LGBT+ so don't read if your homophobic.
