First Love, Late Spring

Phuwin hides his pain behind a radiant smile that fools everyone, including Pond, his cold and distant husband. Forced into a loveless marriage by their wealthy families, Phuwin silently yearns for affection, trying desperately to make their relationship work. But his efforts are met with indifference, and as his hope fades, Phuwin gives up-on college, on their marriage, and on life itself. It's only when Pond realizes how deeply broken Phuwin has been all along that he tries to save the boy who had already stopped believing in happiness.
